Jared got his first taste of hospitality management through his work at the prestigious Five-Diamond Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. That experience and his innate entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to launch Chandler Hotel Group in 2000. Jared’s vision and drive have built a fully tiered company that excels in hotel brokerage, hospitality management, and hotel design and procurement. He’s able to bring this immense, fast-paced industry down to size with a small-firm culture and an emphasis on care, respect and personalized service.
Jared equates hospitality management to the game of chess. No two transactions or properties are alike, so the strategies created to broker, manage or renovate the mare always a unique challenge. Meeting that challenge is a seasoned team of professionals who bring an “anything it takes” attitude to every client and property.
Originally from rural Minnesota, Shannon graduated with a degree in hospitality management and finance from the University of Minnesota. She began her career in Washington with Red Lion and Doubletree Hotels, and has since worked all over the country with brands like Hilton, Marriott, Choice and IHG.
At the property level, Shannon has served John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts in director, assistant general manager and general manager positions. Her most recent post was at a regional level where she worked as director of operations for Pillar Hotels & Resorts (Goldman Sachs), overseeing a portfolio of over 25 full-service, focus-service, and extended-stay properties.
Shannon lives by three words: presence, clarity and gratitude. She applies those principles in her hospitality work by fully engaging team members and guests, always remaining transparent to owners, and showing appreciation for every opportunity.
Jason joined the company in November 2015. Prior to joining Chandler, Jason was the Corporate Controller for Mesa Airlines, a regional airline providing service for American Airlines and United Airlines. Prior to his experience in the airline industry, he brings over 20 years of financial and management experience in various accounting and management positions within the hospitality industry, including Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Troon Golf, and Intrawest Golf.
Jason has worked a wide range of hotel brands, including Hilton, Sheraton, Westin, and Best Western. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan.
Marcy’s passion for the hotel industry began 26 years ago when she worked her way up from a front desk job to general manager of two Choice branded hotels by the age of 21. Since then, she’s worked with many national brands of full and limited-service properties, including The Hilton, La Quinta, IHG, Best Western, Carlson Companies, Wyndham, Choice Hotels and Independent Hotels. As her experience and ambitions have grown, so have her responsibilities—from general manager and area manager to regional director and vice president of operations.
Marcy’s breadth of knowledge and achievements covers it all: new hotel openings, extensive renovations, hotel conversions, sales, revenue management, multiple PMS systems, quality assurance reviews, internal audits, F&B and more. She’s an invaluable part of the Chandler team.
Aaron’s hospitality career began at the five-star, five-diamond Broadmoor Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he acquired top-notch Front Desk and Operations experience. After relocating to Texas, Aaron has been successful in a variety of roles including Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager for full and select-service Marriott properties, chief among them Courtyard by Marriott. He has developed an expertise for adopting and restoring struggling properties and believes in the power of true potential, both in the hotel and especially with his staff. He is a strong advocate of creating and promoting cultures of personal and professional development, in turn supporting healthy teams and successful hotels.
In addition to his hospitality experience, Aaron has also worked abroad in Budapest, Hungary and Chennai, India. His favorite activities include travelling and adventuring with his wife and daughter.
Jeremy has over 15 years of experience working in hospitality in a range of roles including front office operations, research and analytics, investment brokerage and consulting. He started his hospitality career working in Marriott International’s Owner and Franchise Services Group, an experience that sprouted a lifelong passion for the hotel industry.
Prior to joining Chandler Hotel Group, Jeremy advised on global hotel projects including appraisals, feasibility studies and transactions. He formerly managed hospitality investment services for an international hotel brokerage firm and has been directly involved with an array of property types ranging from select service to full-service properties, urban boutique hotels and destination resorts.
Jeremy has served as a speaker at The Lodging Conference and previously authored the National Hospitality Report for Marcus & Millichap. He graduated with a B.S. degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
Brie has been in the hospitality industry for 6 years. Brie recently moved to the Phoenix area from the east coast region where she was working in a fast full-service hotel environment. Her passion is and has always been for the guest. Whether it is checking a guest into the hotel or working with a General Manager to understand the accounting practices for the lodging industry. Her passion for accuracy and organization has helped further the development of the accounting department and her ability to adapt quickly has contributed to her success.
Brie brings expertise in analyzing flow through and cost containment for Chandler Hotels Inc. She knows what questions to ask and listens closely to each hotel before giving her expert opinion to ensure sound accounting practices are followed.
